FAQs and Important Information
WILL I RECEIVE A SHIPPING CONFIRMATION?
Short answer is no. I'm afraid Big Cartel doesn't support shipping notifications (stupid, I know). You'll receive a confirmation of your purchase once you've completed it. Please know that I will work as fast as I can to process and post your order.
I do try to notify people every so often of mass shipping on any new releases via my NEWSLETTER email, so be sure to sign up to that for regular shipping updates direct from me. Besides that, please scroll further down for general shipping timescales.
WHERE ARE YOU BASED?
I am based in North Wales within the United Kingdom.
DO YOU SHIP WORLDWIDE?
Yes. Everywhere. If you're on planet earth, I'll ship there. My shop is in GBP because I'm British, but PayPal will automatically convert your currency for you, hassle free.
WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
At present, PayPal only. It's quick and easy to use.
Please allow the following timescales for delivery of your item(s)
UK - Usually received within 1 week
Europe - Usually received within 1-2 weeks
USA & Canada - Usually received within 2-3 weeks
Australia & rest of the World - Usually received within 2-4 weeks
Please bear in mind that things can occasionally take a little longer under certain circumstances (like if I'm inundated with a large volume of orders, for example). It's rare, but on the odd occasion some international mail has taken up to 8 weeks (the xmas period is cruel like this).
TRACKING ON SHIPPING
All mail is sent standard and is not tracked.
UK mail is sent via 1st Class and International mail is sent via Airmail.
If you would like to pay for additional tracking services please contact me via email before making your purchase so I can give an accurate postal quote. *Please note that all sales of Original Drawings are sent tracked and insured by default due to the value of these items*
If you order the wrong size shirt, sweater, etc. I will accept returns but you will need to cover both the cost of postage for returning the item(s) and any new postage for sending out a replacement.
Please bear in mind that my clothing is predominantly hand printed in limited quantities by me. So I may not be able to accommodate replacements for different sizes if I no longer have them in stock.
I'm incredibly meticulous* with the things I make and sell, however, if you have an issue or problem with something you have received then please contact me via email and I will do my best to assist you. I want you to be happy with my products.
Please note that I'm not responsible for general wear and tear of clothing items.
*to the point where my gf takes the piss out of me for being so anal when I pack shit. But hey, your stuff should always reach you in perfect condition. :)
WRONG ADDRESS POLICY
OK, I need to address this as it's becoming more and more common and is incredibly frustrating...
It is your responsibility to get your address right. Sounds simple enough, right? If you input your address incorrectly on checkout *I am not responsible if your stuff goes missing*. You might have given me money, but the item(s) you purchased cost me money too. If it's returned to me as undelivered I will contact you via email to check your address details. If it turns out that you gave me the wrong address I will ask you to pay the postage again before I resend the item(s).
Obviously, this kind of mistake will mean that your purchase will take aaaaaages to arrive since it's going back and forward.
If your order is never returned to me because of this and, for all intents and purposes, is considered missing *I will not send you a replacement*. So do the right thing and get your address right. Please.
I very rarely take on commissions because, truthfully, I prefer to do my own work. Furthermore, it's rare that I have much time for them.
With that in mind, if you really really would like to get in touch regarding a personal commission request, please contact me via email and I'll get back to you asap.
If a shirt or item has sold out and you desperately want it then feel free to email me, but please be aware that I might not respond straight away.
I'm not too fond of rehashing the same work over and over, so it's always best to get in as early as you can on new releases. They will always be in limited supply.
WHAT PENS DO YOU USE?
Faber-Castell Pitt Artist Pen (B), Posca Brush, Pentel Pocket Brush and sometimes just plain old brushes and ink
I've been quite vocal about this on social media, but here goes...
I am happy for you to get my work tattooed by a professional. Since I don't benefit from it on a monetary level, I have very little interest beyond that. Always happy to see them (done well). A mention or credit if shared on social media is always appreciated. If you want to contact me about getting my work tattooed, simply, I would ask that you don't. My emails keep me busy enough as is. Love that you might have a design of mine for life, and always stoked to see it. Not so in love with getting battered by emails about something that I don't even do myself.
